Theme park reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets. A date-based ticket requires you to choose a start date when you purchase. Guests with a ticket with Park Hopper benefits can visit another theme park at any time of day during park hours (subject to capacity limitations).
You will be provided a My Disney Experience linking code immediately upon purchase. It will be listed on your Tripster voucher. You should visit a desktop computer (not the app) to link your linking code number to your Disney Experience account. The My Disney Experience allows you to manage your reservations, tickets, and daily itineraries on your My Plans page, view and update your profile, see your Disney PhotoPass photos taken at Walt Disney World Resort and update your Family & Friends list.
All of the attractions will have either traditional standby or virtual queue options. To access the new Lightning Lane entrance, guests can either purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass for a variety of attractions or purchase and schedule an individual arrival time at some of their most highly demanded attractions (subject to availability).
A Lightning Lane entrance is a new queue available at select attractions and experiences through options guests can purchase to save time in line. To use a Lightning Lane entrance, a guest must select an arrival window through the My Disney Experience mobile app before embarking on the attraction or experience. You can purchase this feature through Disney directly. Option #1: Disney Lightning Lane Multi Pass: Guests who have purchased a Lightning Lane Multi Pass may select the next available arrival window for its Lightning Lane entrances, one at a time, throughout regular park hours for up to three experiences. More than 40 attractions and entertainment experiences across the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks are included in the service. Lightning Lanes are an additional cost and can be purchased with your ticket type. Option #2: By Making an Individual Lightning Lane Entrance Purchase: Lightning Lane entrance as an “á la carte” purchase will be offered at a few of their most popular attractions. Pricing will vary by date, attraction, and park. This option can be purchased by all guests and lets you choose a time to arrive at the Lightning Lane entrance at up to 2 attractions each day (purchased one at a time).
Guests who have purchased the Lightning Lane Multi Pass can make their first selection at 7:00 AM on the day of their visit. For individual Lightning Lane purchases, guests of a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels* can make their first purchase starting at 7:00 AM on the day of their visit. All other guests can make their first purchase at the regular time the park opens. Pricing and availability will vary by date, attraction, and park. Be sure to check the My Disney Experience mobile app on the day of your visit for current prices and attraction availability.
Yes, guests can use their Disney MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile service to redeem their Lightning Lane selections as long as they link their valid ticket admission to their account. Please note that Lighting Lane is an additional cost and can be purchased through Disney directly.
Your MagicBand allows you to enter the parks, unlock your Walt Disney World® Resort hotel room and buy food and merchandise. The MagicBand is not required but is a magical way to experience your visit.
